Meet the author, Natalie Kinsey-Warnock

We are excited to share Natalie’s six quilts, which she designed and her grandmother made, including the Canada Geese Quilt, which inspired her first book, “The Canada Geese Quilt.” During her talk, she’ll focus on how she draws inspiration from true family stories, highlighting two of her books that are based on these cherished stories. We’ll also discuss various ways children and families can discover their own family stories.

For the writing workshop, we’ll begin with a brief talk about writing to set up the lesson, followed by a 20-minute writing session for children and families. Afterwards, we’ll have the opportunity to share some of the pieces.
